Best chilli chicken I’ve ever had. Lunch special with white rice is all you need.
A hidden gem of a Hakka place is right. Owners are Hakka and have been running the restaurant for 27 years. Solid value for money with huge portions. Can't ask for more. Fried rice and chili chicken platter for one can easily feed 2. Shrimp toast was excellent as well but a bit pricier.
First time eating here, definitely will return. Large portions of food, served quickly and everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and were amused at my reaction to the quantity of food that came to our table. Much more than i expected for the price. Absolutely wonderful experience.
Incredible Hakka dishes & warm hospitality! As someone who’s grown up on Hakka food in Toronto, I can easily say this is among the best. The chilli chicken was the best I’ve ever had—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Another massive standout was the shrimp toast, easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted (pictured is 3 out of the 6, as my wife and I couldn't stop eating them). The owner’s hospitality made the experience even better; she was warm, funny, and made sure we were well taken care of. If you’re craving top-notch Hakka cuisine, this place should be your next stop.
Stopped in here after hearing a few good things online, I love checking out spots with chili chicken, and they have an excellent chili chicken, came out fresh, hot, crispy! The food here is authentic and actually spicy, I got the spicy fried beef rice, delicious. Portions were fair, but the service was great, very kind staff, indirectly overheard my girlfriend say she was cold and they literally without asking turned up the heat! Incredible service the entire time, a legendary local spot that I'm glad I finally got to visit, thank you and see you soon!
